The TASHCO Board of Directors will present a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior. The student must have participated in the Young Artists Festival for a minimum of three years and must be planning a college major or minor in arts performance or arts education.
Students are required to write a short essay discussing their goals as they relate to the arts, and include the benefits they have received from participation in the Young Artists Festival. They must also acquire at least two letters of recommendation. One must be from their private teacher and one must be from an educator or government leader.

This form will also be mailed to you if you are eligible. Include your essay, recommendation letters and a photo and hand deliver to the Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center, located at 111th and Colorado Blvd. no later than 6 p.m., Saturday, February 25th, 2017. Eligible seniors can also mail their documents to Young Artists Alliance, P.O. Box 807, Eastlake, Colorado 80614. The postmark should be no later than February 25th, 2017.
In early March, applicants will be interviewed in a closed screening process by board members representing TASHCO and the Young Artists Alliance. If necessary, students may be asked to submit a CD or video demonstrating performance capabilities.
